ART INSTRUCTORS BIOS.
NICK MOCKOVIAK is a NJ certified art teacher in Union County. He holds a BFA degree.
Nick Mockoviak is an elementary art teacher and illustrator. He has taught many kids and teen art classes including Manga, Cartooning, Creating Comic Books, and Basic Drawing. His work has been featured in galleries at the Arts Guild of New Jersey, Middlesex County College, and Kean University. Nick served as art director, cover and contributing artist on the graphic novel HVZA. In addition, his artwork was featured in an episode of TLC hit show "Cake Boss" that highlighted the Jersey Devil. Nick is a member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
MARCO MUNOZ
LISA NARDONE SCAFADDI has 14 years’ experience teaching art to children in private schools. She holds an MA degree in Art Education from Kean University, Union NJ. This degree includes certification to teach grades K-12 in NJ public schools.
RAYMOND HORNER JR. is an adjunct professor of Art at Kean University, where he received the Distinguished Professor Award in 2016. He has also taught at Union County College and one of the Art High schools in Newark NJ. In addition, he was an adult instructor for Arts Guild New Jersey for 10 years. He holds an MFA degree.
DANIEL SAVARD taught Stained Glass for Arts Guild New Jersey for 16 years. Prior to that, he was a teacher in the Continuing Education Program offered by the City of Rahway through the Board of Education.
ALEX MAMBACH graduated Cum Laude from the New York Academy of Art in NYC. He holds an MFA degree and taught for several years for Arts Guild New Jersey, Central Jersey Arts in Cranford and South Avenue Arts in Garwood NJ.
